Use Marfa as a jumping-off point for Big Bend and Rio Grande exploration. As a local, you´ll have time to get to Marathon (Gage Hotel), Terlingua (live music nights at the Starlight), or become a local at Marfa´s distillery or the Lost Horse Saloon.
Marfa provides all the other necessities you´ll need: coffee, yoga, a gym, public and private pools, volunteer opportunities, workshops at El Cosmico, pop-up shops and guest chefs at Thai trailers, taco sheds, and a Michelin-awarded restaurant (Cochineal). It´s endless, if you give it a second.
The house is an easy walk to Highland Ave (St. George and its swimming pool with day passes, the post office, restaurants like Margaret´s, Ballroom Marfa, etc.) but not on the main street, so there´s a private porch for dinners and star-gazing.
